Planning

We will take chronological steps when starting a project. Beginning with a land survey and an architecture approved design. We will asses and advise the authentic measures that needs to be prosecuted depending on the type of project.

Artisans

All of our crew members have WHMIS and they have extensive training and knowledge in the fields of their respective trade. Our plumbers and Electricians are licensed.

Residences

Our company’s priority is to make sure that our client's property is assessed prior to starting construction such as conducting a mould and asbestos report, electrical, plumbing or foundation leakage.

Floor plans

We have licensed architects and engineers who can assist clients to create a floor plan for each level. The floor plans drafted will be according to the clients needs or commercial space requirements.

Consultancy

We have experienced consultants who will provide the client with all the details that are required to execute the project. It is our utmost importance that we sustain a strong communication with our client. We can assist you obtaining land surveys and permit applications for new builds and second dwelling units to the actual construction of the space.

Licensing

Shelwood will conduct business under the municipal license requirements. All the municipality regulations, OBC and nbc codes will be followed by our company while conducting business. Our Electricians and Plumbers obtain a Masters License.

Insurance

Shelwood Construction and Development posses Commercial General Liability for up-to 5 million dollars. All our workers are insured under WSIB and a clearance certificate for the WSIB Insurance can be provided upon request for commercial or large scale residential jobs.

Warranty

All the construction services carried out be Shelwood Construction and Development will be incorporated under warranty. A warranty certificate will be issued after the completion of the job.
